Some days I drive through campus to pick up the gf, sometimes she is waiting when I get there and other times I have to park for a few minutes, but I never leave my car. Would CC while doing so be a no go?

It would really depend on your states laws, may want to ask in the hometown forum.

Check your state and local laws.

Some states leave it up to the Univ. to decide so its actually Univ policy that only effects the students and has no actual force of law.

But hey concealed is concealed.

Yep, it varies state to state.  It is perfectly legal in TN as long as you do not exit the car. I imagine Texas is the same way, but you better look it up.

In Texas if you are a CHL holder or not, you have the right to keep a weapon in your vehicle, as it is an extension of your domicile.

So long as you don't go INSIDE a building you'll be fine.

Pics of g/f needed also.

Here in MO, it is ok as long as the weapon does not leave the vehicle on campus grounds (that includes parking lots).

Yep, this.  In TX, with a CHL, you can drive on campus or even walk around armed, so long as you don't enter any "premises".  In practice, walking on campus when you can't enter any buildings is kind of pointless (unless you're walking through to get somewhere else), but driving on campus armed is totally fine.

As I understand the laws in Ohio, carrying in your vehicle on a campus is fine. The weapon cannot leave the vehicle with you, regardless of you status as a permit holder.

Same as Florida

As a student in Florida, it is up to the university but your car is considered your domicile so it is a university policy that cannot be enforced. Either way it is better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.

In most states, Universities are not considered schools.  Thus it is usually perfectly legal to carry on campus, though almost always against university rules.  State laws varry, and you ought to check in your Home Town Forum.

I would also suggest you read the CHL law again.  Not to be rude but you should know the law to CYA.
