I posted a question yesterday about carrying without a permit. I'm new here and I didn't read the conduct code before posting SORRY everyone!  Let me be clear, I only carry without a permit on my business's property, which I did post yesterday as well.  I'm currently waiting to hear back from the state about my application. I wasn't trying persuade anyone to CCW illegally.  WON'T happen again  if my app.comes back rejected, I plan to take it to court again and again and again.  Hope this clears the air..

Legal things seem to go more smoothly if you add some lawyer to it.  Expensive, but you live on the wrong side of the Chesapeake.

I have a CCW permit and intend to renew but if I didn't have a permit I would carry anyway, just like several of my friends.

If I were to travel to CA I would probably ignore the unconstitutional and unjust law and carry anyway. I don't recommend that anyone else disregard ridiculous and immoral laws.

Are you the property owner?
If not  you might want to find out if your state allows for unlicensed CCW at work.  Just because the boss says it's OK doesn't always mean it's legal.

CYA before you do more.

Better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.

Unconstitutional laws and restrictions on personal safely are dangerous and immoral. That said, if there is a mechanism in your state to legally carry the tools to defend yourself, then you have no excuse. But if you live behind enemy lines, the key phrase is OPSEC.

I feel the same way. Unfortunately I live very close to it, and my gf even closer (2 miles), so I have to travel there more often than I prefer. Luckily out of state CCW holders can still have their gun in the car, unloaded, so I'm not forced to leave it at home like I am when I travel to the overwhelmingly safe District of Columbia.

You'd think so, wouldn't you.  And yet I've had LEO's try and pop me (before Constitutional Carry passed) for carrying concealed when the pistol was in my back pocket–– half the action and the entire grip exposed.  Idiots went through some real calisthenics trying to explain how a pistol you could see twenty feet away in the dark counted as concealed.

Only in Arizona can you carry without a permit...

I live in NC right now and have my CCW permit. But can't wait to move to Arizona, the land of the free!

Making the drive from NC to AZ December 15th baby!

Oh yes, what are we talking about?

Any Constitutional Carry state will allow residents to CCW without a permit.  Currently, Alaska, Arizona, Vermont, and Wyoming have passed and implemented CC.  Parts of Montana, apparently allow it.  A number of other states are considering it.
