Are the handguards for the standard (i.e., not compact) pistol interchangeable with rifle length ones?

Yep they are interchangeable, I have used my alum railed handguard(fab defense) from my cz USA vz58 went on my 5.56 pistol no problems. Like wise with the wip and wood furniture going on with no issues.
