That doesn't look like a SBA3 brace?? I love the look and am looking for a brace to a M92 that I plan on picking up this weekend. My #1 brace so far (besides the PSA triangle brace) is the KGB, but I do not want to drill into the rear of my gun. Does anyone know of a way to add the KGB brace without drilling?? |

@wanderson
Did you ever receive it? How does the folder attach? Single bolt with locator tabs? |

@wanderson Did you ever receive it? How does the folder attach? Single bolt with locator tabs? View Quote Yup, just drilled one 5/16” hole in the rear trunnion, the tabs on the brace hold it in place. It’s a snug fit, zero play. Not gonna lie, drilling that hole took some time with just a hand drill. Even with a fresh set of bits. That rear trunnion is thick and hard, like tank armor. After that I had to file down the top locking tabs til they were flush with the rear trunnion then file the back of the dust cover, but that only took 10 minutes. I like it, solid lockup and this type of hinge doesn’t loosen up over time. Folds up fairly flat, stays put when folded but deploys easily. Have not shot it yet but I’ve had their Galil style folded on a Saiga long enough to know what it feels like. I had an SOB brace before this, it worked fine but the Draco wasn’t much shorter than my WASR with it’s GL-CORE stock collapsed. |

Just curious, I keep seeing SBA3's with the rubber folded in on itself to make it smaller. Whats the take on just trimming those pieces? Doesn't affect the function. Just trims some rubber off.

In an effort to make a non-S#!tty brace for an AK, I modified a n SBA3 brace to fit a Yugo M85 Pistol with a StormWerkz hinge. Sort of mixed, It isn't as bad as the original Sig Brace style, but lacks in looks like a triangle folder would - Interestingly enough its comfortable and works well. I can shoot very well with it. http://i1286.photobucket.com/albums/a607/X-ray6/007_zpsb4vnuate.jpg" target="_blank">http://i1286.photobucket.com/albums/a607/X-ray6/007_zpsb4vnuate.jpg View Quote |

I bought the cncwarrior/bonesteel brace, but I think I'm going to stamp it before putting it on. Call it what you want, but it is a (very) solid stock with a piece of Velcro wrapped on it.
Looks freaking awesome mocked up though. |
|
I just put the CNC/Bonesteel brace on my Draco, no regrets.
I've had a CNC/Bonesteel Galil folder on another AK for years, still my favorite folder. Doesn't double the width of the firearm when folded so easy to carry. Right side folder is not a good setup for firing when folded though, the bottom of the stock will rest on top of your finger when it's on the trigger. So it could be fired but will put a bruise on your finger. But I wanted to keep my Draco the same as my Saiga so kept with the right side, which is easy to deply when carried. |

Palmetto State Armory just listed the Triangle Brace on their website for $199.
It looks it is the variant for their proprietery jigsaw puzzle rear trunion though. Now that I look at it and the price and being I have a manticore triangle sitting around, I may just Form-1 a triangle stock - The hinge gap the PSA brace has looks sort of clown-shoe-ish. |

I ordered the $159 PSA Triangle brace. I also Ordered a Yugo 92/85 1913 rail adapter from Stormwerkz ($50). So total is a little over $210.
I guess its about the same as a tax stamp and can transfer as a pistol still if I ever want to sell or trade it. |

Hey fellas does anyone have the PSA or CNC Warrior brace on a KP9?Or will they not work on one

I just got my PSA Triangle Brace - It seems better made than I expected.
It is made of Aluminum (bracket and hinge) high density polymer (most of the triangle frame), and rubber (covering of frame and flexible part of the lower triangle so your arm can fit in it. Its fairly heavy and seems well made. I'm waiting for the Stormwerkz 1913 adapter for my Yugo M-85 pistol. The Stormwerkz rail gets mounted to the pistol by drilling a single hole in the center of the rear trunion and a bolt from inside the receiver is inserted through that hole from the inside (threads facing out and rearward) then bolt 1913 rail on - then affix brace to rail. It seems worth the price ($159+ shipping) for what things go for brace wise - The makers seem to know the price pain point for SBR and its just about there. I'm glad I got it though. I will post pics when I get the rail and brace mounted. |
