I missed the $399 PAP M92s and with the new batch of Mini Dracos coming in I may end up going for one of those. I like how short they are, and want to run it with an AK brace, but the stock handguards have GOT to go!
That being said, I'm not looking for anything fancy... unfortunately the only thing I keep seeing are MI handguards, which don't offer cowitness (at least that version) and I don't need the clunky rails. I prefer a slim firearm... Does anybody make drop in handguards that make it resemble a shorty AK or Krinkov? We do not have nay plans for polymer handguards for the mini draco as of yet, there just aren't enough guns out there to justify the cost of a mold so far. We have a lot of projects in the works, and if there is still demand for some mini Draco handguards once we get caught up it is certainly something I don't mind taking a look at. The biggest issue is we don't have one in house right now to prototype anything off of, and they seem to show up and then dry up for a long time... |
| If you cut down and profile one of MI's MRDS top rail sections (found here) it'll fit and cowitness on the mini draco rail. That's what I did with mine, it's up in the picture thread. |
