Anyone ever use a US MachineGun pistol grip attached adapter to mount a stock on an AK pistol for an SBR?
In theory it seems like a good idea. I am just concerned at the amount of play it may have in it. Also if it will eventually cause to much pressure on the pistol grip causing it to crack. I cannot find any reviews... |

I have one on the way that I'm using to attach a sig sb15 pistol brace to. Im also using a side folding bracket so it folds to the left for storage reasons. I should have it by monday.
Way back during the ban, there was a ak47 dragunov style stock that was held on just by the pistol grip screw. |

I went back and forth with the owner via email. I too got the same feeling. He seemed very arrogant and gave as little information as possible. He came across antagonistic and condescending. I inquired about all the pressure on a single screw and his response was "I have had little or no complaints". So you have had a few or none? When I asked specific questions he ignored them.
He might just not be the most social guy... The only problem is there isn't anyone else that I found that does the type of things he does. What did you so instead of the USMACHINEGUN product? Quoted:
I was gonna order one and check it out, a few emails later and I decided that the guys were pricks and wouldn't be getting any of my money. |

The price you pay for that god awful brace you could have nearly paid for the SBR stamp.

| Well, it showed up today. It fits like a glove & there is no movement what so ever when its on the gun. The only gripe I have is I ordered the longer "short" bolt for use with aftermarket grips & its the exact same size as the bolt that came with my hogue ak grip so I cant even use it. I guess I'll have to go to a hardware store and find a longer one. |

So its tight on it? Even when you shoulder it and give it a wiggle? Its rock solid, no movement at all. It took about two weeks to get to my house from the time of my order. Im real happy with it. eta The more I play with this the more I like it. I have a midwest quad rail & some other things for it on the way. I'll post some pics next week when its all together. |

I also ordered the MI rail. Should be here tomorrow.
Did you buy a stock or just the adapter? Can you do me a favor and tell me the overall length with the stock on it if you have a stock? You have the M92 with a 10" barrel from Century right? I'm working on the SBR stamp. |

I bought the adapter for use with a ar15 stock, but I also got the ar15 stock side folding adapter & I put one of those ar15 "arm braces" on it http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2013/08/18/sig-sb15-pistol-stabilizing-brace-review/ Everything went on and locks up solid. |

The SBR stamp went in Electronically yesterday. I am waiting on the Manticore break.
So far just the MI rail and the Magpul grip. I'll eventually add a small red dot. Maybe Aimpoint T1 micro or a Vortex or something and probably some sort of grip. I have to say I really liked the stock wood grips and the contour. I am gonna miss them but did not like the idea of mounting a red dot to the dust cover...That just does NOT seem strong enough to hold still and keep a zero. It seems to flimsy and loose to stay perfectly still when firing. |

I'm more of a fan of the original wood finish as well, but refuse to drill into my topcover. Guess my Tula AKSU will have to be my "original" krink and the M92 my "tacticool" Krink. |
