Hey guys,
Newbie here, for those of you who own an M85 what do you guys prefer to feed it? With ammo getting scarce I want to make sure I buy the right thing. Thanks in advance!

It's an AK, mine isn't picky and I feed it anything steel case so it doesn't cost me a fortune.

Sounds good bro, thanks.

I had one light strike on some wolf, but no other issues. I have a crap load of steel that I won't shoot out of my ARs, but occasionally shoot brass when I go to the indoor ranges.

My M85 runs fine on anything i've fed it.  It has a noticeable shockwave due to the short barrel.   It woofs.

I suspect it will be pretty accurate once i SBR it, but right now, stockless with the ridiculous rear sight notch it is tough to shoot for precision, so ammo choice is not as imperative as with a rifle.  Mine does have a remarkable trigger, which will eventually be a plus.

Mine runs on .223 or  5.56, brass or steel.  I agree it's tough to hit much with only a two hand hold.  I put a sling plate adapter on mine and it's almost as accurate as a stocked SBR.

SLR 106UR and PSA both get steel cased and run fine.
