Took the mini to the range today, with the SLR brake.
It worked amazingly well to clear the firing line. My buddy said people started stepping back by round 4 or 5. Shooting old Russian white box "hunting ammo" from the 90's there was a good 18" of "directed flame" straight out each side. The brake does a good job of reducing recoil. Considering the complexity I feel it is priced a little high (compared to a PWS JTAC47 for example which is obviously more complex to make) but if someone wants a short effective brake, this is it. |
