I tried the standard AK blank adapter on my Draco but a few people thought it may over pressure and KB the gun. Anybody have info on this topic? It functioned flawlessly but it did have a hell of a fireball still. Safety is number one, what blank adapter should I use?

A bit late perhaps...but here it is anyway.

AK47 blank adapters seem to come in three sizes:

Fully knurled .175"
Knurled with a groove cutting the knurling into two parts  .200"
Unknurled .240"

That's interesting.I've never knew that there were different sizes. Thanks for that info.
To answer above. If the BFD worked, then I would guess that is all we need.

SOP for blank adapting is to start with the largest available hole and work down in restrictor hole size until the spent shell ejects about 10 feet.
Do this for each type of blank you are using although I have not seen much power difference in the surplus and and new Barnaul blanks out there.
If you are getting trigger slap the hole needs to be larger

Have once seen a semi AK cycle reliably with no restrictor on a hot day. The next morning we had to put in a restrictor to make it cycle. Maybe the heat and some hot blanks were causing this.
