[ARCHIVED THREAD] - RPD Fire control group - roll pin problem

The problem I am having is that the roll pins in my RPD lower are walking out during firing the weapon. I replaced them and safety wired them, but I really do not like the safety wire showing. Does anyone know another method of pinning the FCG. The gun is a Pirate build. Thanks.

Do a google search for 'Spiral roll pins' The hole in your receiver may be a little enlarged. If you get a spiral pin that's a little bigger it will constrict enough to get in then they expand and stay pretty tight.
