What Pistol Grip is accurate for a underfolder, bakelite or wood?

AK or AKM?

It all depends on the year of production; though, bakelite grips were used on a much larger scale with the AKM series.

It was produced in 1979, I am not sure if it is a AK or AKM, it is 7.62 though.

AKM. Your best bet would be going with a maroon or orange bakelite grip.
