| I just received two SSR-85's that I ordered from atlantic. First off the rifles feel solid. They have threaded barrels and the slant is removable. The wood on them is pretty nice. I noticed that the supplied mags fit a little loose but not a lot. I then tried all of my mags and they all fit really snug... they were all tight .. just the way I like em:). FYI the hungarian steel mags fit in my SSR like they were made for that rifle. Like I said before they are solid, so if you ever ran out of ammo you have one hell of a club. The bolt carrier moves smoothly and they have pretty good trigger pull. The only negative thing about these rifles is the finish. The finish sucks... it is a really thin layer of parker. I feel like they are great rifles but I will definatly have to refinish them in the near future so that sucks balls. One of the rifles was scratched to hell when I opened up the case and the shipping box looked fine so I am pretty pissed that it was shipped to me scratched as much as it was. That rifle hadmore scratches on it than the used SA-85 I got in yesterday. So the parts, fit and assemblly of the rifle are great but the finish is some pussy shit for a rifle with such heavy duty parts. Other than the one of the rifle being scratched to hell I am pretty happy with my order. If you are considering purchasing one factor in having it refinish or adding gunkote. I am going to the range in a little while so Ill post back on that and add pics then |
| We do not look each rifle over before it ships , quality control should be done at the factory but you are welcome to send it back and we will swap it out or refund your money and also pay shipping both ways. We just looked at 3 here and they all looked fine , yes the park finish is very thin , let us know what you would like to do with the 1 rifle and we will be glad to work with you. |

These are bad ass rifles everything about them is on point. The finish is so so but its a damn good deal. I would buy a third but I need to diversify. I realize that it was most likely scratched when it was at TGI. It was slipped in a case and then found its way to me. I dont blame atlantic for the scratches... they obviously dont have the time to open every package they get. I guess that comment was directed towards they guy who packaged up the rifle. Atlantic takes care of their customers and that I appreciate. I would definately buy both these rifles again and I would do it through atlantic. Thanks |

The Hungarian mags have been working pretty well in my SSR. Mine is the poly stocked version. Finish is thin, but overall I think it's a good rifle. I just got some of the new steel Bulgarian mags that are around right now. They fit even better than the Hungarians, but I haven't had the chance to try them out yet. |
