| Has anyone built one of these up? I finally got around to assembling one with a kit I picked up a few years ago. ORF is not answering the phone or replying to email and I need to know if the rails and pivot pin holes are heat treated before I start applying finish. |
| The complete receiver is heat treated from ORF. You should not need to do any thing to your receiver concerning heat treatment. You will find all kinds of arguments on the web concerning ORF's galil receivers and if they are properly heat treated. I guess some people have had problems with what they feel are soft receivers. I've built one Galil with an ORF receiver. Its had around 1500 rounds through it with no issues. |
