I'd like to put an IDF sling on my Golani, but I don't want to use a sling that has metal clips that would scratch up my safe queen. Is that what the IDF is? If so, what are my options?

Do what the Israelis did: Make a loop of paracord, loop goes thru the sling swivels, sling snaps onto the loop.
