In a word, YES!  Get one while you can.  CFS has over (400) on backorder right now, how's that for demand?

This is because they are built on DCI recievers.

I bought two. Received them a few weeks ago. Ordered them straight from Century thru my local FFL.

VERY VERY nice!

Makes me want to sell my WASR immediately.

I can't believe they're selling them for what they are.....but I guess the prices appeared to creep up right under the polish underfolders. Originally they were askinf $399 on some sites.

If you have an avenue of getting one on these, I would explore that immediately.

Classic Arms had some a week or two ago..

Going to pic one up this week I think.  The night sights are dead though.  Any way to replace them?

Also, what's the extra button above the folding mechanism?  I'm pretty new to folders.

i examined one of these a few days ago. i was very impressed. nothing like the Wasr. and the folder was very sturdy. not cheap though charged high dollar so ill pic one up at the gun show this weekend if i find one for a decent price.

The night sights still glow on mine. he
The next thing was the extra button mentioned above. I've been told it's there to hold the receiver cover in place better. Something about the force from 'nade launching would knock the cover loose.

When I first got it, it was a pain in the arse, but I have learned to take advantage of it.

To take the receiver cover off, you have to push this button in before you can push the receiver cover latch in. The same goes when you put it back together. Here's the trick I found. When you do go to put it back together, you can let the latch rest on the pin until you get the cover in place, push the button, and it releases the latch so you don't have to force the cover down to get it to latch.

I got my M70 the other day , I haven't shot it yet but it looks 100% better than my WASR-10 like some have mentioned above. My mags are a little sloppy but not bad.

Here is mine with my WASR.  It feels a lot more solid than the wasr, haven't had a chance to shoot it yet.

I haven't had a chance to shoot the M70 yet, so not sure on its reliability.  It is heavier than the WASR-10, and feels a lot more
solid than the WASR.  The CAI ones have new US made barrels (so I'm told) so no danger getting a shoot-out barrel.

That said, the WASR is a good AK.  If you decide on a WASR, I would recommend buying one you can handle before purchase.

I too was asking about that button above the folder mechanism.  Turns out that's how you release the dust cover so you can field strip it!  VERY COOL feature!  I've only had my M70 for a few days, but WOW!  Is it ever a nice-looking weapon (See Pic below).  Always wanted an underfolder too!  I have a Norinco that I bought in '88 that has the full wood stock, and I want to get a Polish underfolder next.  Any thoughts on the Polish AK's?  Love the M70 so far!  Can't wait to take it for a spin.....Alanhttp://i69.photobucket.com/albums/i54/hoxie8020/P1010056.jpg

Isn't she a beauty????????  LOVE MY AK's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
