My Yugo`s slant brake S/B was REAL tight too, to the point were I thought it was permanent. It`s not.

Put a few drops of oil around the area of where the S/B threads and barrel thread meet. Between the FSB snd the S/B. Then get a rag and channel locks to twist the S/B off.

Mine came off real easy after a slight turn.

You are turning clockwise to get it off right?

Well I had the same issue with a fixed stock kit I had. soaked it for a day with some screw loose. Still had to use a pipe wrench to get it off. Will be replacing it anyway with a USA bird cage brake M16 style.
