Thoughts and opinions on extended mag release for underfolder. Are they any good or is there a significant advantage to having one? What is the best option and who carries them?  Thanks in advance!

I don't have much experience with any of the aftermarket releases, but I definitely think they're a valuable tool if implemented correctly. I have large hands but I still struggle with quick AK mag changes.

If I ever feel the need to install an extended magazine release my go-to is the Galil release:
