This is a Romy site, but the procedure is exactly the same for Yugos: http://www.novarata.net/Linx310/furnitureremoval.htm You're right to want to ditch the poly, they look like crap and are low quality handguards IMO. |
Neat link, I keep meaning to take mine off and clean under them. I have no idea how long it's been since the lower handguard on mine was off, probably since it was assembled 
Apparently I'm one of the lucky suckers that got all original wood with my Yugo, and after reading up on it I'm keeping it that way! |
