I had to return an M76 to ORF because the cases kept rupturing regardless of which lot of military ball ammo I used.
Now I see that there are more M76's available, and would really like to get one. Which ones seem to have the best builds, and what kind of accuracy should I expect if I use really good ammo? I understand that any time CHEAP ball ammo is used, the accuracy is poor, as it is with any other rifle. But I'm wondering about accuracy using either really good ammo, or well made handloads. I also realize that these are designated marksman rifles, not a precision bolt rifle, and the expectations for both systems are different. |
