I got an M64 underfolder from Apex and it needs the front sight spring for the flip up sight. Can anyone show me what it looks like? Or atleast give me a good description?
The other thing is what is the screw on the left side of the receiver below the barrel? Lastly, How do I take an underfolder stock apart? |

In no particular order
1.under folder assembly http://home.earthlink.net/~mwsjb/AKbuild3.htm 2.The screw beside the barrel is for the bolt hold open feature that they had originally. Most were taken off. 3. Don't quote me on it but I have been told that you can trim an AR sight spring down to fit and it will work. |

Also, a tooling mark on the near sight leaf has basically made it unadjustable. BTW - I have been talking to turbothis for my re-weld. It's looking like the best option. Thanks for the suggestions guys. ETA - Apex immediately responded to an email I sent and they are sending me a new brake and site leaf. Excellent customer service marks for Apex! |
