I'm looking for a carrying/storage case for my newly bought M70AB2.  I want something small thats fits the gun kinda snug.  No tennis racket case.  Any ideas would be appreciated

I use a Galati DC 30" case for my underfolders.  Nice case and a good fit.  Link.

Some of us use the Russian or Polish military drop cases but I'd wager many of us that have underfolders simply put them in a regular long gun case.

most just throw it in the trunk, who uses a case for a UF

I once seen someone use a tennis racket case with a 30 round mag inserted. petty stealthy setup.

M60 barrel bag, it is what I use.  I can fit 2 30 rounders and a 20 rounder in the pouches.

If i remember correctly the longest measurement grip to muzzle brake was 26.5 inches. I picked up a paint ball marker case from Academy but it was too short. The mags fit great in the pouches made for the quick load tubes and a large pouch upfront fit ammo boxes nicely. Buddy if it was just longer. and i have searched and found nothing similar yet. The gun would only fit with the slant muzzle brake removed. I also picked up a assault rifle case from there plenty of room for the gun even if it had a longer muzzle device. but the 30rnd mags would barely fit in the pouches. Hope this helps on what not to buy. I am also looking.

I think I probably almost bought the same paintball gun case from Academy.  Glad I didn't since it was too short.

I wonder if AK mags will fit in the mag pouches on this one:

I use this too.  $8 at the Army/Navy store.  And no one knows what is in it.

Yup!  M60 bag works well.... tight fit for my underfolder, but secure and protected.

There are two types of M60 barrel bags.  One is padded and the other is not.  The padded ones are and have been very hard to find.  They exist, but you got to get the store to hunt through the stack for one of them.  I have had my 16" folding stock 10/22 in one of these for 25+ years now and now I have another one with the M70 in it.    Also, a Cetme cover fits the M70 very well to cover up the action and it will all fit inside the M60 barrel bag as well.

My yugo UF fits perfect in a m60 bag.  I have 2-30rounders & 1-20 rounder in the various pockets.  It is a perfect case for this gun.

That is exactly where I got mine too!  Nice guy to deal with as well.  He also sells "real" SAW grips that will fit the Yugo with very little modification and they have an excellent metal cover and metal clip to cover the storage compartment.  You have to ask for the cover and clip.  It is extra but well worth it.  Now there are two types of these grips also, one is the originals which were a hard rubber type of material and feels real good in the hand and the other is a harder Zytel type material.  The Tapco SAW grip, well, this guy said Tapco ordered one from him and about a month and half later the Tapco SAW grip was for sale.  So he said he think they shipped it somewhere and had it copied.  I have one of each of these types, the original hard rubber type (which you can use a piece of light sandpaper to smooth over any rough spots) and the harder Zytel type.  Fits the American hand much better than the tiny, sharp WASR-10 grips and I think it is even better than the Original Yugo grip as it is larger and has storage.

I actually went to their store and hand picked them.  They had padded and unpadded.  I didn't find them on their web site, but didn't look to hard either.  They were $19.99 each, appear to be used.  Sorry, I don't know how to post a link you could click on.

Thanks for the link, it pasted just fine.  Unfortunately that is across this mess called DFW to me.  A good hour just to get there.  But I am stocked up well and do not have any other short weapons that would fit into one of them.  At least there are two outlets for these now, Sir Plus Supply and Omahas.  even the unpadded ones are great carrying cases for the M70.  The Cetme cover does make a very good cloth cover to keep dust and dirt out of the action too.  And it is an easy out cover too with it's full length opening.  Better than just pitching it in the trunk or behind the truck seat uncovered.

It was like 4-5 years ago and it was either at Florida gunworks or here:

Roberts parts

You might contact them to see if they have any left.
