Thanks

How do you use it, or how do you get one? If you buy a cleaning kit one will be included. Search SKS cleaning kit and several sites will be listed that provide them, reasonably.

Sorry, brain worked faster than my fingers.

How do you use it?  I have one, but don't know how to use it.  No manual I have ever seen explains it.

It's a reamer, when the hole in the barrel gets really bad ream out the carbon fouling. Most of us will probably never get our gun dirty enough to ever need to use it.

Are we talking about the brass piece that has "ridges" on it?

The port cleaning tool has a square shaft with sharp edges and corners, with one corner rounded off to protect the bore when inserted deeply. I am not familiar with a brass object. Sounds like a cleaning jag maybe? If you remove the gas valve this exposes the barrel port. The tool is inserted and used to scrape hard carbon fouling that reduces the diameter of the hole.
