I have a Tula I'd like to bring back closer to original configuration. It's scoped right now and has a cheap slip-on brake. (no threads on barrel) I'd like to get rid of the scope, replce the original reciever cover (I still have that) and put a FSB back on it.

Can front sight blocks be found for this?

It looks as if it would be easy install. Would it?

why do you need a new front sight block? just remove the slip on break, my experience has been that SKS fsb are tougher to remove than on an AK.

Y??? it would probably be easy to put one back on. I might have a spare chinese FSB if it would work. I'll look and get back with you if I find it.

This barrel isn't threaded, if that matters ...

I can't find the FSB, but about any one should work. As far as I know none of the russians were threaded from the factory. The tough part will be finding one.

i think that usp40 has what you need in the EE in the ak mags and parts section.
