I have had this shortened version of a Norinco SKS for several years now. When I bought it I noticed the bayonet lug appears to be hacked off. I think the cleaning rod or whatever is missing as well. Can this barrel be replaced with one that would take a bayonet? The rifle has never been shot. Is this rifle worth anything or is it junk? http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d31/SparkSVT/sks002.jpg http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d31/SparkSVT/sks001.jpg http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d31/SparkSVT/sks003.jpg |
Junk...Just send it to Guns762, Powell, WY.... ![]() Legally, you can't have a bayonet on there anyway, so the lug really isn't that important. They are also a commercial version, so you aren't taking away from a historical piece. The cleaning rod is easily replaced....errrr I mean they are way expensive, like $100 ![]() Buy a new rod for it, shoot the heck out of it. The "paratrooper" is a fun version. |
