i took my sks apart and when i try to put it back together everything fits but i can get the latch to hold the trigger on

if it's lined up correctly then you just gotta do it- mine is stubborn as hell. my experience has been that i need to really push hard on it. good luck. and don't break anything.

Make sure it hooks under the mag and that you can see the little metal piece through the hole...
then push like hell, preferabbly not on a fragile table or couter as you may break it...

Also make sure the safety is on. If it's off, then it won't go together.
