Looking for pics of SKs rifles with Large scopes on them. Bought my dad a SKS for his birthday and for X-mas I want to hook him up with a decent target scope. i just ordered a leapers high mount with shell defector and I have a scope on the way... Kinda curious as to what the SKS looks like with say a 14" long scope attached. Is it easy to reload the rifle with the long scope? Any pics and comments would be awsome.... |

Thanks guys... I realize the whole strip clip thing... Im working on getting him enough US compliant parts to make it legal for him to use detachable mags... i got him two really nice mags off EE, never used and they seemed to fit the rifle just right. havent tryed shooting them yet... Hes wanting one of the Drag stocks, and from there all i gota do is finda couple internal parts.... From what the BATF compliant list looks like, the mag alone is 3 parts of the 7 I need. The stock is another.. Then im thinking, replace the gas rod and piston, and maybe install a new US milled trigger group and he'll have one helluva shooter.... untill I can get all the tiems, hell have to hand load it.... Heya Drag.... What kind of mount is that you are useing? Do you have any problems with shells bouncing off the scope? |
