[ARCHIVED THREAD] - reliable fixed mags

I'm sure you've all heard this a thousand times, but I'm looking for larger reliable fixed magazines.

Specifically, 20 rounders. What kinds have worked for you? I saw some Chinese ones with a Star on the side, are these any good? Thanks!

The chinese seem to work for folks and would not be an illegal mod from what I understand.

I've heard the 20rd chinese with the star on it is pretty fragile; but I've honestly never handled one. it looks solid

I have one of the 20 rnd. "star" mags. It doesn't seem fragile at all. However, I suspect a weak mag spring, since I have a consistent fail to feed on the 2nd to last round of the mag. I can't find anyone selling these springs, either. I'll be switching to a 10 round mag as soon as I can get my hands on one.
