Hey folks...my room-mate just got a Norinco SKS for $150 BUt it doesn't a trigger assembly. Will a Tapco g2 system drop in without any mods?

Not even close.  Way different.

K, what about the mixing of parts...can a Russian FCG fit a Chinese?

That I don't know, I only have a Yugo SKS.  Pulled it out to look at the trigger since I was curious about your question.

Wow, it's really not close at all...I just found a blown up diagram of the FCG...there are 19 parts including pins.
But looking online, there isn't a lot of "kits" for sale....might have just found my market

Depending what year the Chinese was made a Russian might fit. Some early Chinese were Russian guns assembled in China.

I haven't seen many trigger groups for sale but as I remember they were bringing like $55.00 ...I have a Yugo and its trigger group works fine in a Chinese barreled action that I also have, I would assume that most will interchange but no guarantee. Try Gun Parts .com. used to be Numrich Arms....

It doesn't a trigger assembly?   I think you should the whole thing.

If he happens to get lucky enough to find a trigger assembly
it will probably cost more than the rifle did. Good luck.
