Hi I am new here and I have a chinese sks. If I make a stainless steel gas piston does that qualify as being US made? Thanks.

In my ALL AMERICAN minde it would but If I were you I would take that up with the B.A.T.F.E. Better safe than sorry.....

Ok thanks I will probably make one but I will make sure to get enough compliance parts to make it legal. with or with out it.

If you make a part in the United States it counts as a compliance (US made) part.
People do it all the time with AK receivers.
