does anyone here have experiance with only neck sizing your cases? did it work?,any issues?
might belong in the reloading section, but thought i would try here first |

Neck sizing should be all that is necessary if you are using brass fired in the particular rifle you are loading for. If we are talking just range brass from unknown sources, then I would have to recommend full length resizing or run the risk of feed and/or chambering issues. Carbide dies would eliminate the need for case lube for full length resizing, but they are expensive.
Please tell me you're not trying to reload steel cases, this is a real bad idea for numerous reasons. |

thanks for the info, every test i did told me i probabl could
and im not using steel cases, if i could find away to i probaby would, full length resize of course. im sure i will get bored and try at some point reloading is about experimentation, thats why i picked it up 17yrs ago |
