Depends on what nation it is from, when it was made, what condition it is in, etc.  Stock unmodified guns are almost always worth more than modified ("Bubba'd") guns.  

My new/like-new unissued Yugoslavian M59/66A1 was $260 almost a year ago.  

If I had to give a ballpark figure for the price of a typical unmodified SKS in decent condition, I'd call it somewhere around $200-$300.  But this is only a general figure.

I like the Norinco. It is lighter than the Russian, reliable and will last longer than most people will ever use them.

Chinese and Russian SKS Specs:

Weight 8.8 lbs.  
Length 40.16 in
Length of Barrel 20.34 in


The Chinese is the same weight as the Russian.
