| Re-arsenaled guns usually have a square with a diagonal line stamped into the stock. As far as the number 1 to 3 ranking, that number is usually on the front sight tower, on the flat side facing the muzzle. The #1 supposedly designates the most accurate SKS', or so I've heard. |
| The only markings on the stock other than serial number is an almost upside down B behind the reciver cover. As fas as markings on the sight post i have what looks like 2 triangles inside one looks like a 3 & inside the other looks like a 4. The triangle with a 4 looks like it has a line through it. Very hard to read these being so small. |
