Choate Drill & Tap mount.
Best done by a qualified gunsmith or someone with a drill press and  some experience doing drill and tap work on hard steel.

Very nice. Looks like you have to cut a relief in the stock for that mount. Did you do that yourself? What is the website? Choate tool and die or, something like that?

My smith did all the work he like to work with wood,I got the drill and tap work and the relief done for $25.  He make all his money buying and selling antique rifles and shotguns. Actually you can get it cheaper by a few bucks here and he ships US Postal Service save a few bucks there also.  Also if your a member of the SKS board he will give you a 5% discount to boot.
