I have built several AR rifles and pistols and now it's time to come over to the dark side. I have a Yugo M92 kit arriving soon for my first AK style build and I have a few questions. When I purchase the new receiver for the build do I declare it as a pistol build when I buy the receiver like I did on my AR Pistol builds on the 4473 ? Second, I keep seeing threads talking about a NODAKSPUD ???? Is this a person or a business for receivers.??? I have tried it as a www.com address and found nothing. Help!!

www.nodakspud.com is working just fine for me. They say that they will be making receivers specifically for the M92. Judging by the quality of their other receivers, I think it will be well worth the wait. It will be made exactly as you need it, so there won't be any opportunity to screwup the cuts for the folding stock. As an added bonus, they will custom serial number your receiver to match the serial number of your kit. BTW, I'd put together a Romanian kit for my first build. Once you're confident in your abilities, then build the expensive M92 kit. On another note, you might want to consider getting a M95 kit. These are brand new demilled just like the M92 kits. Nodakspud will be doing a special run of receivers for them also. The M95's are 223Rem chambered rifles, so they'll get along pretty well with your AR's.

Their website still won't open for me, I went back and checked my settings and even tried a different computer...must be my ISP.... that said, Thankyou for the info, I had a chance to get a M92 kit very inexpensive so I bought it. As for building a romanian kit to learn on your absolutely right in that thought process,,,plus it will give me another weapon in the safe !!! I'll tell my wife you said so,,hahaha..
