So theoretically, to build my own krink, I would just need to re-drill the gas port to suit the size of the barrel and cut the gas tube?
And if I can't get a krink FS/GB could I just push the original Bulgy FS/GB together? (see pic)
Just thinking before I send my Bulgy kit to be built

This is why I hate the term "krinkov", because it's not readily defined even though the name was used to describe the original AKS-74U. To me, a "krinkov" must have the AKSU combo block. What you have posted is just a shortened AKM. But yes, if you want to re-create what you've posted you will need to re-drill the gas port, shorten the gas tube, shorten the handguards, and press the FSB against the GB. However, I would just keep looking for the correct parts and do it right.
This is a krinkov in my mind:

Thanks. Yea I see the term gets thrown around for just a shortened AK. Its a mix and matched kit which is why I don't care too much about it. I'm honestly not looking for anything authentic.

Ended up contacting Jim at JBI Armory and he's going to build me a nice Krink style rifle. Just waiting for the Eform to return. Should be nice.
