Virgin Yugo M92 Build.
I have 8 of these to build so I am doing them in sets of 4. I just wanted to show some pics of the rear trunnion being finished out. Tooling was quite a bit for this job I purchased all carbide metric 4 flute end mills, and Drill Co metric carbide machine screw bits. In the past 2 years I tend to just buy the correct tool and move on. 362.00 in end mills, drill bits and misc tooling boy it does come out correct though. I installed the rear trunnion using the original Yugo Rivets.

3/4 convex double side carbide cutter. I use my mill to cut them.

Jim Ah, you're that SaigaMan. Didn't know for sure. I don't want you to touch anything of mine anyway. That sidefolder job you did was terrible. If you're going to post photos and drop hints about building rifles for others, why not just become an industry partner? Just seems backhanded the way you advertise. Also, not sure how asking you if they were for sale, and whether they were yours, constitutes "trolling". |

Drake, thats funny you requested a quote when I emailed you the quote your reply was unacceptable to me and I withdrew the quote. It's trolling because your interest is not in the OP subject it's to get a rise and to attract attention. Half Life has no issue with the pics I post please leave the moderating to the mods. Yes one of the side folder jobs did turn out bad and I did buy the rifle from the guy. I didn't want to weld his new receiver back up and re cut it. But I did the rite thing and made him hole. That's fine. I made some mistakes in the past. I chalk it up to being green with forums and being young, as well as being ill. I made no commitment to have you build a rifle of mine. Your quote was way too much compared to other builders who had a better reputation.
Now why don't you become an industry partner and properly advertise your builds? |

Drake I have a question for you why do you feel the need to crap on someones thread? I'm not trying to make enemies here but I had to ask what was the purpose of it? I don't know what you and SM2 had dealings wise but I would think that mutual respect would be the best approach here? You wouldn't want others crapping on a post you've done right? Different opinions are what makes these communities a fun place but to outwardly attack someone based on private dealings seems wrong to me. Anyway that's my take on it. I will also say M92's are pretty nifty guns....Well all krinks are.  |

Jim did do two folder retrofit on 2 SLR-105s of mine. One was less than satisfying (cuts were larger) and the other one was a good job. The one that was messed up had the rivets put in the wrong spots on the original trunnion and there wasn't much that Jim could do. He did buy the rifle back for how much I had into it, which was far more than the market value. I would let Jim work on another rifle, especially a Krink, which seems to be his fortay. |
