Can someone post a picture of their MISR 90 front trunion? I have heard that most of these have an adapter in order for the chinese barrels to fit. In looking at mine, I see no adapter and the barrel/trunion fit looks excellent. I'm wondering if my trunion is different or if I have a different barrel.

The barrel shank of the MAK-90 barrel the part that goes into the trunion is 19mm in diameter. The hole for the barrel in the trunion in the Maadi receiver is 22mm. So a 1.5mm thick sleeve was pressed onto the barrel shank as it was pressed into the trunion.
When Century Arms first started making the MISR-90's a friend owned a gun shop and ordered a couple of them. When they came in we took them apart and really gave them a close look. The sleeve stuck out of the trunion about a half inch and had alot of marks around it. It looked like the sleeve and barrel slipped several times in the fixture used to hold it while being pressed into the trunion. Also lots of hammer marks were on it. It took a long time to sell the rifles as the painted receiver with all the other metal parts being blued looked odd. He finally sold them about 6 months later and ordered two more. They looked a lot better as there were no marks on the barrel and the sleeve was flush with the front of the trunion.
Can you post a pic of your MISR-90?

Right now it is in pieces. I just put in a new US FCG. Gas piston is on the carrier, but not pinned yet. No stock after the removal of the plate in the rear (see my other post). This is my first AK and I'm still trying to learn about them. Here is a picture of the trunion/barrel
