Well, got my first Vepr at a local gunshow yesterday. It's a Robinson Arm. 16" 7.62x39 Vepr K. Ser.# 03 KK 79XX. It was very slightly used, looks brand new, has a POSP 6X24 scope w/illum. ret. (German post reticle), and 3 average cond. Euro 30 rounders and 1 Hung. 20 rounder.

650.00 out the door............

Judging from the ones i've seen for sale lately i think i did pretty good.

It has a cheesy set screw short AK74 type brake on it and the basic RA skeleton stock w/ pistol grip and forearm. No pics yet but it is excactly like this one on GB...........

Can't wait to test drive it, probly next weekend. Thinkin about an Ace folder or fixed stock, different handguards and PG., and threaded muzzle with a real brake for future mods.

Not bad considering you got the scope with it also. Much better than what the new converted Veprs are going for. You did well.

Shoot it as-is for a while. The plasma rifle stock set actually fits and handles very well. And if you use a Harris bipod for plinking, the front is great.

Congrats!

I can't find any new ones for sale other than the auction sites .  The one i mentioned on GB sold for 899.00 + probly around another 50.00 for shipping and transfer fees.
As far as i know, Robinson does'nt make them anymore, a Krebs is 1000.00 for a base gun.

Does anyone know where you can still buy a new converted, or factory stock import.?
