Hey guys I have a robarms verp k and was just curious what other were using to clean theirs with. I am trying hoppes bore gel right now, #9 seems to eat at the painted finish a bit.

Wait.... Your supposed to clean them??? But seriously, I use Breakfree foam followed by CLP for Lube. Has not harmed the finish yet

beware that gun scrubber or the brake cleaner trick also takes the finish off.
Just a bit, but it will strip it aver time

I just use Hoppes and Break Free. The owners manual actually say to not use the harsher stuff becasue of damage to the finish.

Do you need one more guy to mention CLP to you? If so, use CLP and a boresnake!
