I went in the local fun shop today and there on the wall was a Saiga in 7.62x39 with a price tag of $200 not super cheap but a fair price I think.  So I told the owner I would take it he then informs me it also comes with a scope mount and a couple bulgy mags that are no good becuase they dont fit the rifle. (bet I can make them fit)  The cool thing is the last  digits of the serial # are 47.

Im gonna go with a fixed synthetic I want to use this one for 3 gun shoots at the local gun club.  Im tired of playing the AR game and want something diffrent and I thought this one would make a good canidate. I picked up a stock set today and while I was checking out I noticed some Romy parts kits behind the counter for $100 and the wife told me to get one if I wanted it.  So of course I brought it home as well.  So it has been a very good day.
