Here is my 308 with converted m14 mag. It was a 22inch I cut it down to 16 and reinstalled front sight I had to cut down the end of the barrel so the sight could be reinstalled. 10 us parts total counting the mag. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v229/mstang88s/P1010894.jpg I ground the front of the mag to fit into the well. Iused the stock mag to fing out were to weld the front trunnion catch and how much to grind off the rear catch. I trimed the front of the mag body to match the stock mag. I also bent the lips down alittle so the bolt carrier dosen't hit the lips. I then trim the follower to ride up into the trunnion so it will feed all 20 rounds. It just take alittle time and fitting to get it to work. You have to have dummy rounds to check the feeding. It also lock the bolt back after the last round.
