I finally finished my FSB and hider. Its a Stoll shorty I made. I also filled the receiver holes with trigger pins. No high speed/low drag parts, just my own frugal "Cal custom" ideas.

Yes, well, that's the sort of blinkered, philistine pig ignorance I've come to expect from you non-creative garbage.

My saiga12 a lot time and money spent on this shotgun. From painting it, to HK sights, rails, trigger job and ace stock to the shiny skull on my charging handle. Will take a better detailed picture of it.

On all of the 5.45 conversions I've done it hasn't been required. On all of the 5.56 rifles I've done it's been required, and only a few of the 7.62's have needed it. But you really won't know until you get your specific rifle. |

I'm going to order a 5.45 sporter soon, and intend to convert to AK style rear... I'd like a folding stock setup, but I'd really rather have a left side folding stock... Doesn't seem there are too many of those available. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions?
Done some looking around and signed up at the saiga-12 forum. Found that the ACE side folding stock should be the ticket. Found a vendor that has pretty much all the parts I'll need, and gives a 5% discount with a code he posted on the saiga forum. Since his prices are pretty much where I'd expect 'em, I'll throw him some business and get a discount while I'm at it! |

I've used ACE internal conversion blocks on both my folding-stock conversions (S12 and 7.62). They both fold to the left. Pretty sure I can just rotate the pivot block 180 if I want them to fold to the right instead. |

Yeah, I did some looking around at the Saiga forum and found a couple vendors... found the blocks that bolt right in to the Saiga receiver. Should make for a very nice clean install. I'm going to leave the front end, but would like to end up getting an Ultimak rail to mount a dot on. Too bad the IronDot isn't available from LaRue anymore... |

Are these things parkerized under that paint? Because I dislike the glossy finish, park looks better IMO. |

Whenever I get around to getting my holes welded up I'm going to get it park'd and cerakoted. |
