When you remove and replace your scope does it retain zero?  Playing with mine yesterday the scope didnt look to go back to the same every time. It was always off by one or two clickes of adjustment.  This normal or just because I hace a chineese made scope?

In concept most mounts retain zero, but there are a few factors like tension of the clamp and quality of mount, rings or other things. Cheap stuff generally won't hold zero

What kind of scope or scope/mount combo is this?

I use the Molot scope mount. (Purchased from Kalinka optics.)
So far I've had no issues with zero shifting around after a removal and re-install.

I also have a Czechpoint railed mount that is designed for the vz58, but fits the vepr very well. This is a great mount that held zero, but i decided i wanted a one piece mount instead.
Duffy's up in Sparks MD. Usually has the czechpoint mounts in stock if you are not too far away.
