When deploying the plastic side folding stock, is it supposed to lock itself? I have to push the locking thing everytime. recomend a fix please.

Gun was bought here in the EE, it was a Venezuelan overrun built by D. Huffman from A Z E X. Please advise and no bashing anything related to my gun.

It's not "spring loaded" locking device if that's what you are asking. You have to physically lock the latch on the stock to the front locking latch on the receiver.

It should. Can you post pics of your locking contacts? Yours may be sitting too far inside the trunnion for whatever reason to allow it to lock itself.

try replacing the pin that holds the stock to the trunnion (easier said
than done, I understand). I have had exactly 1 out of 6 side folders
that was like this. I happened to put a pin in from one of my others and
it folded and locked with no issue after that. I believe there is a
person on the akforum.net that sells the 5.5 pins.

The other option is to see where it binds and then file it down....I don't recommend doing this except as a last resort.

Man your pin sticks waaaaaaay out more than it should on the right when the stock is open, at least compared to my SGL31-94, unless you're depressing it in the picture. Some geometry may be off somewhere. I'm not 100% sure but it looks like you have the newer style button installed, maybe that has something to do with it.

AZEX did a bad job on that conversion. The cuts for the sidefolder assembly are very sloppy.
