I'm getting this recoil buffer for my Saiga AK47: http://ak-builder.com/index.php?dispatch=products.view&product_id=30001

Is this exempt from 922r compliance on Saiga Ak's. Will this trigger 922r compliance.

I'm still keeping everying else in a sporter/factory configuration like this one: http://www.atlanticfirearms.com/storeproduct708.aspx

No pistal grip, nothing...maybe optics later on.

You don't need that.  This has been hotly researched and debated and it's a waste of money.

Recoil buffers are a band aid for a weak recoil spring. If you are having metal to metal contact at the rear of the receiver from the bolt carrier then get a new recoil spring.
