Do all Saiga's require a bullet guide to use mags different than surefire?

technically, yes. Some have had good luck with the 5.45's not needing them. I had a 7.62 one that fed fine without, but I still installed one. It may seem daunting, but it really isn't to install one.

I have a 5.45 that will feed without a guide, but I installed one anyway. $20 is cheap insurance, and the install is a breeze.
