I have a converted Saiga that has Galil furniture.  However, I would like to replace it with a quad rail.  Can anyone suggest a quality quad rail that won't break the bank?

Check out the Chaos Quad Rail.

Runs about $140, but if you are patient, they run sales and I got my Tri Rail for $99 (same price as quad).

Not really a quad rail, but I'm thinking about buying one of these for my converted Saiga.

Cameron is advertising a Christmas sale over on Saiga-12.com, he mentioned to check out his website for the details. Didn't sound like a members only thing, so this might be a good time to check on that Chaos rail.

I went with UTG for my saiga and love it. Picked it up for under $100. I converted my saiga but never did the fore end conversion and the UTG quad goes right on and is solid and secure.

Yeah, it's interesting. Even though UTG is typically known for producing airsoft-grade stuff, their Saiga quad-rail is actually pretty decent. I've never heart one complaint from anyone with the UTG; I've only seen solid reviews for it. I've yet to put one on my rifle, but I wouldn't hesitate to when I get the cash.

First time I had used a UTG product on a actual firarm was on my AR and it was great. Ever since then I have no quams with using any of there stuff. In fact I had done some reading and UTG is making a large variety of tactical equipment for various fire arms. In fact the UTG I had on my AR and the knights armory I had originally looked at, differed mostly in name and price.

Can you use iron sights with the UTG setup?

Yes, you can use standard AK iron sights with the UTG setup.  I have mine on the forend of a polish kit (not a Saiga) but there is a channel in the middle of the pictanny rails that allow you to see with the iron sights just fine.
