Why the sidefolder if you have that optic mounted on there? Do you regularly switch it off and on? |

I don't understand....ok I'm being facetious. I would say 99.9% of the time the stock is open. I've tried shooting with the stock folded and it ain't easy! IMO, folding stocks are good for storage and concealment when needed. I have optics on my side folders, and even on the one w/o optics I almost never fold it, unless I'm showing it off or fondling it |
It's simple really, I have a disease and I can't seem to own an AK without a side folder
While the optic does stay mounted most of the time and it doesn't need to fold on a practical level, in this case I was going for a specific look to match an actual Russian S12 that they are lucky enough to get over there. Half the fun was the year long parts scrounge to get the hardware, the other half is owning it. And ultimately it's like any AK, why not have a folder? At least you can if you want to Z |

I am just putting on the Krebs ghost ring sights and I think that will be good for 12ga, I dont think I am going to do any really long distance shooting with it. |
