I've owned SARS and haven`t owned an AK for a while. I was at the funstore today and the WASRS they had looked pretty damn good. Better than the SAR`s I had. The sights weren`t canted, finish looked reasonably good, and the wood looked better than the recycled pallets that came on my SAR-1`s.
Tell me about them. Imported single stacks converted by Century, right?? How about the fcg?? Original Romy or Century pot metal??

My WASR has been a really great rifle, it goes bang everytime you pull the trigger and eats every kind of ammo i can find for it, even hollow points. yes they are all converted single stacks wich makes it lack the mag well dimples. some of the original FCG can be crap on some rifles but i have heard others that have had no prob with them. mine had canted sights and gas block, but a a few tools and 10 minutes fixed all that.

I bought a few on sale for $220 each and did the conversion.   No cants here.

For the price you can't beat it.  They go bang everytime no matter what you feed them.

My WASR-10 is a blast. I hand picked it from the bunch and no canting issues. Mag wobble isn't a problem and after some love, the wood looks good.
