Hey All, I purchased a 1967 Romanian kit from Aim surplus last year. They where selling them for 69.00 w/a 20 rounds magazine. Ahh the good ole days. This kit turned out to have all matching part #'s. Minus the dustcover. I purchased a Ewbanks Manufacturing receiver to do the build and had some problems. When I ran into problems with the receiver I contacted the folks out at Ewbanks (Ken and Deb), Explained the issues I was having and asked if they could help out. There where more than willing to help repair the receiver, during the conversation I asked if them what they could do about completeing the build also. We made a very fair arrangment and I sent the kit off with all the 922r Compliance peices. I got a great product returned to me. This 1967 Kit was built and re-parkerized. I dont know what year the Romy's started getting cheasy but this one is awsome. I wanted to share a photo and Let everyone know I had a great purchase experience with the folks at Ewbanks I am extremely pleased with thier proucts and service. I own several AK rifles. This is the first stamped gun that rings when you rack the action. Sounds like a milled receiver.
